PASTORAL CARE

Pastoral care is a strong ministry for our congregation in a practical way by working with the ministry team. We support our congregants inside these walls, all of us are then energized to go out and do the mission of the church outside our walls. We are willing to lend a helping hand – from making everyone who comes through our doors feel like family to supporting each other in times of crisis.    Our care items include:

• Prayer chain
• Candle prayer table
• Cards sent for a range of occasions on behalf of the congregation
• Special services, such as Blue Christmas service each December
• Poinsettia Christmas Memorial donations given with a printed message to loved ones, printed in the bulletin. They brighten the sanctuary and then are  distributed to our shut-ins after Christmas
• Hospital and home and care home visitation
• Healing Pathway
• Funeral receptions as required/requested
• Benevolent fund
